This is the hardest part for me. Trying to sum up the beautiful and faithful work of the Lord in just a few short sentences. The people in these photographs are like family to us and I could not be more honored to have had the opportunity to capture this day. Carly and her sweet daughter, Karsyn, lived with Wes and I for a short time a couple of years back and we still get to enjoy visits with them once a month even though they have relocated from Roanoke to Raleigh now. There were so many emotion-filled moments during this sweet day - some of my favorites include Jonny’s reaction when he saw Carly walk down the aisle AND her dad’s reaction as he walked her down the aisle (everyone was tearing up and I found myself doing the same behind the lens!). There were also several monarch butterflies fluttering around just before Carly came down! Oh, and Jonny said vows to Karsyn too and I basically lost it at that point. Not to mention, their bride and groom portraits before the reception are truly some of my favorites I’ve ever had the privilege of capturing. ALSO, you gotta make it to the end of this post because the groom breaks it down on the dance floor and it’s just so fun. Basically the whole day was perfect and I hope you enjoy ;)
